Compressed Air Heat Exchanger:

The cooler for compressed air has been developed in order to regain
energy from blowers which, for example are used to aerate basins on
waste water treatment plants. Click here to see a full color brochure

Inclined Plate Settler:
The
inclined plate settler has been successfully applied to the separation of particles from a liquid by using a countercurrent flow system. Professor Gunnar Weijman-Hane initiated work on the parallel separators in 1959 at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
The investigations at Chalmers University were exhaustive and concentrated on optimizing design
criteria such as length to width ratio of plates; inclination and distance between
plates; inlet design of channels and distribution; and treated water collection. After many years of
pilot tests in various applications, the first full-scale facility was installed and operated at the
waterworks at Lackarebacken in Sweden in 1969. This was the birth of modern plate settler technology.
Since that time, improvements and modifications based on hydraulic studies using data accumulated from
actual installations have been incorporated into a computer program. The computer program addresses flow
control and design details to assure equal flow distribution to each plate and almost total
efficiency of the plate settling area. All designs are customized to our client's needs.
The inclined plate settler offers several advantages:
- Stainless Steel Construction
- Compactness of Design
- Modular Design Concept
- No Moving Parts
- Ease of Installation
- Easily Removable Individual Plates
- Retrofit or Grassroots Design

Shaftless Screw Conveyor:
Lackeby Water has more than 40 years of experience in design and production of
shaftless spirals and screw conveyors. Our delivery includes single
shaftless screw conveyors as well as complete shaftless screw conveyor systems.
Screw conveyors with shaftless spirals are especially suitable for
transport of materials that have a tendency to stick to the shaft. Even
material with changing particle size and consistency can be transported
without problems in this kind of conveyor.

Sludge to Sludge Heat Exchanger:
The Sludge To Sludge Heat Exchanger is a further development of the very successful sludge to water heat exchanger. The design allows the heat from thermophilic digester sludge to be transferred between two conventional sludge to water heat exchangers by means of an intermediate water loop.
